About Julie Anne O'Neil
Performance Bodywork is a combination of many things. Drawing from her experience in dressage and massage, performance bodywork was born. Julie spent about ten years of her life training and showing Arabian Sport Horses. Including Hunter Pleasure, Show Hack and Dressage.
She showed locally, won many regional championships and two national championships in dressage. After attending The Florida School of Massage, graduating in 1994, the way Julie trained and rode horses changed dramatically."Once I understood how muscles work, grow and develop, I had a whole different perspective about training horses." About Performance Bodywork
Performance Bodywork is a combination of massage, Ortho Bionomy® and Tui Na (pronounced Twee Na). These three modalities combine well and allow the animal to be treated thoroughly in a holistic way.
Massage increases circulation and gives information about the condition of the muscles.Ortho Bionomy® is a combination of Positional Release and Osteopathy. This modality works with the bones and joint spaces.

Using compression into the joint spaces, tensional patterns can be releases. Tuina acesses acupoints and meridians to free energy through the body. Massage works from the outside in, Ortho Bionomy® works from the inside out and Tuina works with the bodies energy.
Combining these three very powerful modalities allows for a very thorough session.
